WiseGuides™ was founded in 1994 by Andrew Rosenberg, CPA, a pioneer in the microcomputer-based tax software industry.

In 1995, the WiseGuides™ initial CPE course library was available in CD-ROM format. However, with the rapid growth in Internet usage, since 2006 all of WiseGuides CPE courses are now delivered as "online" Internet based courses.

Although we anticipate that most of our Registered Tax Return Preparer Test candidates will prefer the convenience of our user-friendly "online" Internet based exam study materials, for students who prefer more traditional study methods, we also provide "offline" study tools for the RTRP Exam, such as hard copy Lesson Books and a CD version of our Question & Answer Software.

Andrew (Andy) Rosenberg is founder and CEO of WiseGuides, Inc.. His company, CPAid, Inc. produced the Master Tax Program, the first commercially available PC based tax preparation software for professionals.

Andy earned a BS degree in Education in 1969. His career started in the U.S. Air Force as an instructor pilot from 1971 to 1973 training T-38 jet pilots. After the service, he earned an MSA degree in Accounting and became a CPA in 1977. Before starting his own software firm (CPAid, Inc.), Andy was a staff auditor for Peat, Marwick & Mitchell.

Andy has published numerous articles and books including the "Individual Income Tax" and "Tax Planning" by West Publishing Company.
